Welcome to our frequently asked questions section of the site. Here you will find a vast array of questions that we get from time to time that we figured we should probably post.
If you have another question for us, feel free to head over to the Contact Page and let us know your thoughts or ideas.
You can find them in our ETSY shop!

We try to post at least 1-2 builds a month to help keep content fresh. We also recommend bookmarking the site and following us on social media so that you can stay in the know.
No. We are not in the business of designing modules for our users... and to be honest, we aren't electrical engineers so you don't want us to.
We are based out of Sacramento, California.... but can be found all over the internet!
We have built modules for customers before and we enjoy doing so. If this is something you are interested in, please reach out to us via the Contact page.
From time to time we do post gear on our reverb page. This page is updated as we make room for new gear or if we are cleaning up shop. Sometimes we even build things just to sell.
Yes! To ensure the highest quality and to protect the modular plugs during shipping, we pack the bags in anti-static bags.
Yes! Aside from the red/green plugs, we have several options available. We can even custom make one offs for you if you would like. Just let us know after you place your order if there is a color you are looking for that you do not see listed.
We test each and every modular plug that leaves the shop. Sometimes shipping can break things and we have no problem sending you a replacement. Just contact us via the shop and we can set something up.
As stated above, we can make custom orders depending on supply. If we do not have the colors you are looking for, hit us up via our contact page and we can see what we can do to assist!
Your modular LED plugs are not designed to be lef on for long periods of time (greater than 3-5 hours in a single use).
It is best to remove them from your system when you are not using them or if you are not recording/performing to ensure a longer lifespan.
Unfortunately no. We do not offer this type of tool due to the fine threads on the nuts themselves. We have tested, designed and even built various drivers for this only to find that the drivers become stripped after a short period of use. If you want a tool to effectively tighten/remove these nuts, order a knurled nut driver (it looks like a screwdriver).
This tool is a leg bending tool that you can use for diodes, resistors, etc. It allows you to measure and bend legs of components to ease install. Plus they are kinda handy to have around.
Yes. You can use a 3mm wrench to unscrew the music box mechanism and install another to your liking. If you are unsure of where to find other tunes, we can provide others (at a cost that is).
Usually this is due to the part slipping. Try using a small screwdriver and adjusting the set screw on the top of the mechanism. If this doesn't fix it, you might want to order another mechanism.
The original design was based around users having sliding nuts in their racks (round holes). We have recently updated this (oval holes) and there will be new panels available to address this.

We recommend using your Chum Bucket containers for anything that you might need while using your modular system. We use ours for our Knurlies, AllFlesh pads and even our modular LED plugs.
